Financing requests get turned down because there are one or more fatal flaws in the deal. We carefully review each transaction to address the flaws and fix them.
- Funding Prequalification. Match sponsor to prospective capital sources based on five preliminary dimensions. (Deliverable: Letter of Interest)
- Funding Objective Statement. Define sponsor’s funding goals and objectives. (Deliverable: Initial Project Analysis)
- Verification. Gather and verify data to allow for proper positioning and complete preliminary due diligence.
- Competitive Analysis. Apply our competitive market knowledge.
- Debt Evaluation. Evaluate debt capacity, default prospects and assess cash flow.
- Asset Analysis. Analyze assets’ past operating performance and/or projected future performance.
- Valuation Analysis. Prepare an indicative value based upon assets’ net present value.
- Financing Viability Scoring. Calculate Financing Viability Score (FVS) based on 22 verified data dimensions.
- Financial Modeling. Build financial models to study potential financial structures.
- Capital Structure. Recommend a capital structure appropriate to sponsor Funding Objectives. (Deliverable: Final Project Analysis)
Even if the plan is sound requests get turned down because they are not presented properly, our process provides for the most professional presentation.
- Funding Presentation. Prepare digital, print, and online documentation for presentation to prospective capital sources. (Deliverable: Funding Request)
- Underwriting Package. Create customized underwriting package. (Deliverable: Online Due Diligence Package)
Although a financing request may make sense and be well packaged for presentation, you need to have the right capital sources to make the presentation to. With our database of some 700 capital sources we have the best access to capital.
- Matching. Match sponsor deal to capital sources based on Financing Viability Score (FVS).
- Market Funding Request. Promote transaction to prospective lenders and secure competitive bids.
- Identify Alternatives. Provide alternate financing options, if funding has not already been secured through initial placement efforts (Deliverable: Revised Project Analysis).
- Funding Advisement. Negotiate application, manage due diligence through closing.
