REMINGTON ADDS STAFF FOR UPTICK IN COMMERCIAL MARKET

At last, theres light at the end of the tunnel! The CRE market appears to be thawing. Indicators are all over the place! The U.S. just had its best commercial property sales quarter in the past two years. A new SBA loan law gives small business owners greater access to commercial capital. And CRE lending appears to be loosening up. More to the point, Remingtons business is perking up across the board.

With more than a trillion dollars in CRE debt due to mature by 2013 and signs that commercial real estate market has begun thawing, Remington is adding staff to meet the anticipated buildup in demand for commercial capital, Andy Bogdanoff said.

By the end of the first quarter of 2011, we should have another 14 account executives and two additional analysts on board, Andy said. We are bolstering our sales and capital structuring departments not only to accommodate expected new transactions but also to make sure each and every one of our commercial loan brokers and their clients receives optimal service every time every step of the way in our financing process, Bogdanoff said. In addition to reinforcing staff, Andy explained, we are continuing to expand and broaden our global network of banking and alternative capital sources. Currently, the Remington capital network is approaching 700 lenders and investors, about 70% of which are alternative sources of capital, including private investors, pension funds, life insurance companies, mortgage REITs, endowments, and others. Together they represent billions of dollars in capital available to finance, refinance or recapitalize all types of viable commercial real estate and corporate finance projects.
